From three manual passes to one smooth run
For years, Wisconsin Wraps had been looking at application tables to simplify two recurring tasks in their shop: mounting prints to rigid substrates and masking cut vehicle graphics. Working with wide-format 60″ media, they knew the right workflow tool could save time, reduce manual steps and make daily production more consistent.
After visiting ISA and comparing several application tables, they decided to invest in a CWT 1747 Classic —a choice driven by both the fit for their production needs and the confidence they gained from the support and guidance at the CWT booth.
The challenge: a slow, multi-pass masking routine
Masking printed and cut vehicle graphics was one of those tasks that always consumed more time than it should. Because they print on 60″ media, the team previously had to apply application tape using 24″ tape in three separate passes, then squeegee everything down by hand.
It worked—but it added unnecessary time and effort to a process they repeat constantly.
Why they chose CWT
The Wisconsin Wraps team evaluated multiple options, including CWT. What stood out was a combination of clear answers, practical advice and a straightforward buying experience. They describe the CWT team as responsive and easy to work with—helping them feel comfortable making the purchase and selecting a setup that matched their workflow.
Seamless introduction into daily production
Bringing the CWT 1747 into the shop was “basically seamless.” The team started using it immediately, primarily for masking printed and cut vehicle graphics—replacing a manual method with a faster, more controlled routine.
The result: one pass instead of three
The impact was immediate.
Where the team previously had to make three passes with 24″ tape, they now load one roll of 60″ tape, apply it in a single run, and the job is ready to move forward.
The shop reports huge time savings, with a smoother flow from print to masked graphics—ready for the next step without the same manual effort.
The small feature they appreciate most
Sometimes it’s the details that make a workflow tool feel like it truly belongs in daily production. For Wisconsin Wraps, one of the most appreciated features is the under-table shelves, where they store straight edges, knives and other tools. It keeps the workspace organised and ensures key tools are always within reach—supporting a cleaner, faster working routine.
“I really like the small shelves under the table. We store all of our straight edges, knifes and other tools on it and it keeps things organized and right where we need it when we need it.” – Josh

Would they recommend CWT?
Yes. Wisconsin Wraps has recommended CWT to other shop owners based on improved workflow, strong product quality, and a positive experience working with the CWT team. And if they had to describe the CWT 1747 in just a few words?
“Worth the money.”
