Setting the working pressure for flatbed applicators
  • At 4 bar: 153 kg, 1.0 kg/cm²
  • At 5 bar: 181 kg, 1.2 kg/cm²
  • At 6 bar: 210 kg, 1.4 kg/cm²
  • At 58 psi: 337 lbs., 14.2 lbs./in.²
  • At 72 psi: 399 lbs., 16.8 lbs./in.²
  • At 87 psi: 463 lbs., 19.5 lbs./in.²
  • At 4 bar: 153 kg, 0.9 kg/cm²
  • At 5 bar: 181 kg, 1.1 kg/cm²
  • At 6 bar: 210 kg, 1.3 kg/cm²
  • At 58 psi: 337 lbs., 13.2 lbs./in.²
  • At 72 psi: 399 lbs., 15.6 lbs./in.²
  • At 87 psi: 463 lbs., 18.1 lbs./in.²
  • 4 bar: approximately 58 psi
  • 5 bar: approximately 72 psi
  • 6 bar: approximately 87 psi

This relationship is important for understanding how metric pressure settings (bar) convert to imperial settings (psi) for the CWT series.

Normally 3.5 -4 bar pressure works perfect for most applications on rigid substrates, .

Lower the pressure for soft materials, such as fome core.
